The Waitangi 175 Oral History Awards are a special award round, established to mark this important anniversary year.
Manatū Taonga - Ministry for Culture and Heritage is calling for audio-video projects, which commemorate the partnership created by the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi and raise awareness about the Treaty and what it means in the twenty-first century.
Expressions of Interest for the Waitangi 175 Oral History Awards close at 5pm on Friday 26 June 2015. The Awards decisions will be made on 31 July 2015.

Waitangi 175 is the Government’s coordinated approach to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the signing of Te Tiriti o Waitangi/The Treaty of Waitangi. This significant event in New Zealand’s history has been conferred Tier One status in the Government’s commemorations programme for 2014 to 2020.
